Our latest Ofsted inspection in May 2009, recognised the school to be 'outstanding'.
Inspectors from the Diocese also inspected the school in January 2020. They judged it to be 'outstanding'.

Please note if an application is incomplete and we are lacking necessary information then your child may be placed further down the waiting list, it will also hold up the process of admissions if/when a space does become available.
The suspension of the obligation to attend Sunday Mass was announced on 18th March 2020 by the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As of the 5th June 2022, Pentecost, the Bishops of England and Wales reinstated the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days. Parents applying for a place under a faith-based criteria will need to complete a Supplementary Information Form. Evidence of practice will be measured by frequency of attendance at Mass as validated by either a priest or minister, as was the case prior to 18th March 2020. These arrangements apply to the admissions round for 2023 and subsequent rounds.
If your application for admission is unsuccessful, you have the right to appeal to the Governors. Please complete the 'ADMISSIONS APPEAL FORM' below and return it to the school marked for the attention of 'Clerk to the Governors' by Friday 12th May 2023.
If your child is due to start primary school in September 2022, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Monday 17th April 2023).
The deadline date for submitting appeals is Friday 12th May 2023. Any late appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
