Whole School Celebrations and Events
Food Festival
Children, families and staff from St Joseph's Catholic Primary School (Northfleet) came together on Friday afternoon to celebrate the wide variety of cultures present within the school during a food festival. Families and staff were invited to make a dish of their choice to share. The smell from the school hall was incredible as cuisines from all around the world mixed together in one space. Children and families ate some familiar favorites and sampled things that they had never tried before.
Mrs Begley said, "What a wonderful way to finish celebrating Black History Month. By bringing everyone together and celebrating the rich tapestry of diversity that makes our school community such a wonderful place".
Mrs Owen added, "It was wonderful to see so many cultures represented and to taste so many delicious foods".
